Rochon has the father of Zelma Staples and Samuel Staples. She was born in Torrance, Los Angeles, to Zelma Staples as well as Samuel Staples. Cerritos High School in Cerritos California is where she graduated from high school in 1982. Rochon received a diploma in broadcast journalism from California State University Dominguez Heights (CSUDH) in the year 1986. Her majors were sociology, theatre and theater. Heather's travel-themed digital show, Drive Yourself Local is an online series in which she travels around America in a 1965 Ford Mustang and shares small town tales. Ullerup was Julia Brynn in the 2006 remake of Battlestar Galactica, which was broadcast through the Sci Fi Channel. The character she played, Ashley Magnus, was created for Sanctuary's initial and second seasons. People were angry over her departure, and many were hoping to see her come back in the next shows. The show ended in 2012 but not before there was a heated controversy. Ullerup starred as Bree O'Brien on Chesapeake Shores in the year 2016. Ullerup played Maggie Thomas the estranged husband of Michael Thomas. Ullerup's regular role in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered series has been Dale Travers since 2016.
